“on which side is the gas connection? The plumber who is fitting the gas line for my range tells me that he must know on which side the gas line is to be connected. This info does not show up on the print-out of features and specs that was provided to b=me by Best Buy.”

When you are facing the Range ie. looking at the controls of the Range the Gas connection is on the Left side. I hope this answers your Question.
