This oven looked great in my home and I loved the control panel. The gas top worked great too! The oven door opened and closed easily and smoothly. My issue was the oven. When preheating to 350 it would go about 100 degrees too hot. If I let it preheat for an hour and a half it would get to the right temp. When I adjusted the thermostat it would be too cool after 15 minutes or so. If I set it to 400 then it would about 25 degrees too hot. I was constantly adjusting the thermostat and it was a lot of work! I opted to exchange it after 2 weeks for a GE range. for the same price I got all the same features plus an accurate oven with convection & a warming drawer.

High End Range for an inexpensive price

My husband is a professional pastry chef and he chose this range for our home. It works flawlessly, cooks evenly and at set temperature, and looks very industrial. We love it and couldn't be happier. We recently hosted an event with 14 people at our house for 3 days and this oven worked like a champ. No problems whatsoever. I highly recommend it. The large burner can boil things very quickly. I had to giggle as I read the other reviews...it seems that one person was complaining that he couldn't cook bacon on the center griddle....I have to say that even if that was possible, it would create a colossal mess with the grease spattering everywhere....I simply use a covered pan on a burner and this allows one to drain the grease and contain the mess. Another reviewer was complaining that the convection oven didn't work....please take note that this is not a convection oven. As to the knobs breaking, if you push them in before turning (like they're designed to do) they won't break. If you don't push them in first, you will strip them because that is not how they are designed to be used. It's a safety feature so that toddlers don't turn on the gas, and so you can't accidently turn it on if you brush against it while walking past. I highly recommend this range but please use it as designed.

1st time user with an LG stove

Only had the product since August. so the jury is still out overall. The stove knobs inside mechanism is made out of cheap plastic and one has already broken. The black top grates are terrible to keep clean, never had this problem with an old 24 year old Sears Kenmore model we gave up. Gives off an extreme amount of heat overall when using the oven and even 3 burners at one time. Oven rack weighs about 5 lbs and is tough for the wife to take in and out.

    Stylish oven, great price

Bought this oven after our oven quit working Christmas day! We shopped around and found Best Buy had the best prices. We bought the oven mainly because there are 5 burners. The cook top is super easy to clean, we had a cook top that had individual pans for each burner and I had to break out the toothbrush to get them clean. The grates are cast iron which is nice, they won't flake and rust. The oven racks slide smoothly and are easy to pull out to adjust height. The depth and width hold large pizza stones and cookie pans. The only drawback is the lack of a warming drawer, but I don't cook enough to make that a real problem.

Worst Purchase ever and terrible customer service!

When i got this range i was so excited because it looked great. Unfortunately, that's all it did. The center burner comes with a griddle that is completely useless. It is too far away to heat up. After 20 minutes, it might cook a pancake. Maybe. It will never cook something that requires higher temps like bacon. It is also poorly made. On day 1 the convection fan did not work. They came out and replaced an electronic control. Then, the oven would shut off randomly, and the oven light would go off whenever it felt like it. They came out and replaced the entire control board. Within a month, it was again randomly turning off and the oven light was still going off and on. On their third trip out they replaced the control panel and the touch screen. This worked for about 4 months. At that point it again turned off randomly and the oven light worked when it felt like it, and of course, as others have mentioned, the knob broke. I called customer service and asked for an entire stove replacement. They refused to replace the unit. They insisted all they could do was come out to repair it for the 4th time in a year!! Even after complaining to supervisors all they would offer was to repair it again. This was of course about a month before the warranty expired. Now, it is 3 months later and the warranty is expired. I keep a flashlight by the stove to check food and another knob just broke. I would sell this thing on craigslist, but unlike LG i wouldn't sell such a terrible product to some unsuspecting consumer.

We have had the gas range for almost two month. It has been working just find. I do alot of baking. Its easy to clean. If you read the direction on how to use it , you will understand what level to put what food on so everything cooks evenly. It looks good and has been working out great so far for us.

I purchased this stove a little over a year ago and have nothing but problems with the knobs. The knobs are made out of cheap plastic. Geek squad has replaced them 3 times now and are in the process of sending new ones once again. I love the features of the stove and the broiler has a hi and low and the 5 burner is great. I just wish the knobs were made better.

    Really like this stove

We have owned this stove for a month now and I really like this stove's features, looks, and easy cleaning. The power boil is nice but I also like the low simmer option. It is really easy to clean. The knobs look and feel substantial, some other models/makers that we looked at seemed cheap and plastic, but not these.

Like the stove but the timer is difficult to use. Somewhat expensive but do like the unit, cooks evenly. There is a middle burner on the top of the stove that is a little awkward to use and I wish there were more big burners. Lower drawer seems cheaply made.

I purchased this oven over a year ago because I had some other LG stainless steel appliances and wanted it to match. I didn't see especially positive reviews but this was the LG oven which fit in my price range and was stainless. There has been an issue with the oven from day 1 with the igniter where it would take 15-30 seconds and then ignite sometime with a "whoosh" and other times without. At first I assumed that this is just how gas ovens light as I have only used electric before. I decided to contact customer service and that is when I realized I will never buy another product from LG again. I have since spent a full four months without a stove as LG tried to fix it. The first issue was with the scheduling system where you are given a four hour window for repair. On my first attempt I took off work for the day and my repair man did not show up and gave me no notice. I spent multiple other days of getting off work early and having the repair man tell me that the igniter broke during shipping. This happened two times and then LG just said they would reimburse me. They covered what i paid for the stove but nothing to cover the fact that I had no stove for four months. LG appears to take no care to customer service and if you aren't prepared to go without your appliance for multiple months without coverage then stay away.

    Overpriced and Terrible Support

Cheap plastic knobs broke. Just out of warranty and had a lot of trouble from LG support.... would not cover the knobs even though they admitted they are a defective design. The main burner could be stronger.

The knobs were horribly manufactured. They continue to break and replacing 1 knob costs $70.00!!! I bought a slightly older model and the knobs continue to be a problem. Do not buy this gas range.
