    • Answer At minimum, the unit requires 1, double pole 30-amp breaker and 10-4 electrical cable. I changed to a double pole 40-amp breaker during my upgrade.

    • Answer Regrettably, we are not qualified electricians, and we highly recommend you consult a licensed electrician for specific installation requirements and codes in your area. The recommended wire gauge for the LG 30" Smart Built-In Electric Convection Double Wall Oven with Air Fry - Stainless Steel, Model # WDEP9423F, is 10 AWG, and 8/3 is allowed for a wall oven that calls for 10 AWG wiring. The 8/3 wire configuration consists of two hot wires, a neutral wire, and a ground wire, which is suitable for 240-volt circuits. The recommended protection circuit for this wall oven is 40 Amps, and the wall oven must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in their absence, with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No.70- latest edition, so you will need to check your local building codes or consult your local building inspector or a qualified electrician about whether an 8/3 wiring or 8/4 is allowed in your area. New branch-circuit installations (1996 NEC), mobile homes, recreational vehicles, or installations where local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor require a 4-wire branch-circuit connection. If your local codes permit a connection of the frame grounding conductor to the neutral (white) wire, you can follow the instructions for a 3-wire circuit connection...^Ivan.

Based on the specifications for this model, it features Fan Convection rather than "True Convection."
