Q: Can this be used without convection? Is it self-cleaning?
A: Yes. The oven bakes very well without convection setting. It is self cleaning.
A: At minimum, the unit requires 1, double pole 30-amp breaker and 10-4 electrical cable. I changed to a double pole 40-amp breaker during my upgrade.

A: Regrettably, we are not qualified electricians, and we highly recommend you consult a licensed electrician for specific installation requirements and codes in your area. The recommended wire gauge for the LG 30" Smart Built-In Electric Convection Double Wall Oven with Air Fry - Stainless Steel, Model # WDEP9423F, is 10 AWG, and 8/3 is allowed for a wall oven that calls for 10 AWG wiring. The 8/3 wire configuration consists of two hot wires, a neutral wire, and a ground wire, which is suitable for 240-volt circuits. The recommended protection circuit for this wall oven is 40 Amps, and the wall oven must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in their absence, with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No.70- latest edition, so you will need to check your local building codes or consult your local building inspector or a qualified electrician about whether an 8/3 wiring or 8/4 is allowed in your area. LG Double oven
We had been wanting a double oven for awhile. Previously we had an oven and a built in microwave above. Fit great in the space allocated. Having the wifi capabilities makes it even better. Has already come in handy hosting, being able to cook two different items at different temperatures to serve hot.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Totally Worth It
I got the LG 30" Smart Built-In Electric Convection Double Wall Oven with Air Fry, and I love it. It’s super spacious — way bigger inside than I expected — and it cooks really evenly. The air-fry and convection settings work great, and the controls are easy to use. But honestly, my favorite part is how it looks. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person and gives the kitchen a really clean, modern vibe. Overall: big, beautiful, and works perfectly. Totally recommend it.
