If the "multi-function wall mount" that you are referring to is a Full-Motion or Articulating Wall Mount, it will not get the LG 32 inch Class 720p Smart HD TV (31.5'' Diag), Model # 32LM620BPUA closer to the wall than a Fixed Wall Mount or a Tilting Wall Mount. Fixed Wall Mounts have the slimmest profiles and will mount the TV closer to the wall than a Full Motion Wall Mount. The TV is a VESA compliant display that has a VESA Wall Mount Pattern of 200 x 200 mm and VESA compliance guarantees that any VESA compliant Wall Mount that supports the VESA Wall Mount Pattern supported on the TV can be used to mount the TV.
