Customers do use TVs as monitors. It really depends on the intended use, gaming versus office type work as to whether or not the TV will meets those specific needs. For example, the TV doesn't have a camera or microphone . Check out the specs for this TV on its product page at https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-32lm577bpua-led-tv to help determine if this is feasible for your set.
