“I have a 32" LG tv that an LG rep I just spoke to insists can only operate on 2G -- a problem for my new wifi configuration with Spectrum that simultaneously uses 2G & 5G. Before replacing it, can you confirm this tv can operate on a network like that?”

Our WiFi is 2.5 with no issues other than the normal restart of services which has always been an issue with our WiFi.
