• Yes u need to use the feet if putting tv on a counter

• You will need to use the stand or mount the TV as it will not stand on it's own. Ventilation is from the rear of the TV. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) space from the wall for proper ventilation. ^Daphane
