Does this t.v. need a antennae? null

Attaching an antenna to the LG - 32" Class - LED - 720p - HDTV, Model # 32LM505BBUA is not a necessity, it is a preference. If you prefer to receive Over-the-Air (OTA) programming through an antenna on the TV, you can connect an indoor or external antenna to the F-Type, 75-Ohm, Coaxial connector in the back of the TV labeled as 'Antenna/Cable IN'...^IFV

Yes all TVs need an antenna to receive a single in order to show a picture whether it's a cable TV signal or an over the air signal to function..Whereas the LG TV is basically a monitor that converts the signal into a picture for viewing in "lament terms"

If you don’t have cable or satellite you will need an antenna box.
