Does this TV have an IPS panel or is it a TN or VA panel? null

Rich, Thanks for taking time to answer this question. Yes, I realize that IPS, TN and VA are all different types of LCD panels. Not trying to impress anyone with this TV, just thinking about using it as a backboard panel for a virtual pinball machine. LG is know for using IPS panels on many of their LCD tvs, especially the cheaper 4k units. I was hoping that this set might be an IPS too. Not looking for top notch picture quality, just decent viewing angles. Thanks again!

All of panels you listed are in the LCD family. Best way I can answer this is...you get what you pay for. If you are using it for gaming then this will do. But if you want to impress your friends, then I would upgrade from this one.
