“does this TV have a sleep timer”

• Yes it does. This is copied directly from your manual. To use Sleep Timer (Settings) → [General] → [Timers] → [Sleep Timer] Turns off the TV after a prescribed number of minutes. • To deactivate the [Sleep Timer], select [Off].
