“Setting up this TV with a spectrum cable box, hdmi connection... there is sound but no picture. During Channel set-u it is saying no channels detected, but it will play sound from a channel. Any ideas?”

You don't need to do channel set up with a cable box, only an antenna. Just choose the HDMI input you have connected to the tv and you should be able to see picture and sound. You'll have to use the cable box remote to change channels
