If you mean to use the PS5 for fast, online gaming then go for an IPS monitor instead of this VA monitor. This monitor has nice color interpretation if you will play games with nice colors and graphics. Types of screen display technologies: IPS - Best refresh rate VA - Great color, great refresh rate TN - Best color, low refresh rate
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it's a good monitor with high color accuracy. however, it's a 60Hz panel. if you're okay with that, then go for it. the monitor supports HDR. however, it's not particularly bright to get the benefits of HDR. if you're planning on gaming at 60fps and below, I would go for it. I wouldn't get this monitor for my Xbox Series X because it doesn't support 120Hz, it doesn't support VRR (though the PS5 doesn't support VRR either and I would consider it unsupported until Sony actually adds it; at this point, it's just a promise). it does support AMD FreeSync but I think it supports the older AMD FreeSync and not the newer kind. And besides, VRR is better than FreeSync. it's terrific as a PC monitor because of the high color accuracy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor offers a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. The recommended resolution is 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. The monitor will not support HDMI 2.1 or 4K@120Hz. You can try the LG Community Forum for suggestions on monitors; it is a great resource for getting help from other LG customers: https://lgcommunity.us.com. ^Daphane
