• I can not answer that for sure. I have an 8 year old mac book which has a mini display to hdmi adapter. I used an old hdmi cable and plugged into the LG 32 4k and the display did not render. It could be the cable or the adapter but I did not investigate any more. The adapter worked, at one time, with another LG monitor, a 27" 1080 version, but I disconnected that Mac external monitor some time ago.
