You need the sleeve, window units are different. They have slats to fill the side gaps. Wall units do not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There must be a sleeve installed. If you have one already it should be ok. Just make sure the vent grille is in the right direction. The instruction manual will show you how to install. If you do not have the vent grille, you will need to install a baffle device or the AC will burn out in 1 season of usage.
