• Short Answer: Yes, you will need a PC tower. Long Answer: Computers come in a variety of forms, most of which being referred to as a "tower", and a desktop that doesn't require a tower, but in fact has all its components inside the computer, is called an "all in one". This monitor isn't an "all in one" computer, just a monitor.
