This unit features an auto-evaporation system that typically exhausts most of the moisture through the vent hose while in cooling mode; however, depending on the humidity levels in your environment, internal condensation may collect in the base pan. We understand that knowing how to maintain your unit is important, so if the internal tank becomes full, we recommend a simple troubleshooting step: turn off the unit, place a small shallow pan under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the device, and remove the drain plug to empty the water.
