A:AnswerNo, a tall pitcher won't fit all the way in, but you can tilt it and push on the dispenser button with the other hand. Height of cut out is about 8.75" from the base to the bottom of the little spout that delivers water. We find almost all glasses fit in there, but the tall water bottles need to be tilted. It's not been a problem though.
A:AnswerIt makes 3-6 a day. See manual about how to choose which number. You can also set the other ice maker to make more ice, but I think it only does so for so long, at which time you have to set it back to "more ice". See manual for directions. The panel to set things is in the refrigerator. You can also hook it up to Wi-Fi with an LQ Thin app, but I haven't done that yet. That probably allows you to choose ice settings, too. By the way, if you just got the fridge when posting this question, it can take two days to make a full container of ice.
A:Answerhow do you find this info out prior to purchase?
It will help in decision making if I know if the appliance was sitting in a shipping container or warehouse for four years. It matters to me.
