Hello there. Thank you for your question! We understand that you'd like to adjust the shelves in your LG LF29H8330S French Door Refrigerator to make space for taller items.

The shelves are designed to be adjustable, but they do not have separate instructions for removing individual sections of the split shelves. To adjust them, simply lift the shelf up, then slide it out of the mounting brackets. Afterward, you can reposition the shelf to a higher or lower setting as needed to create room for larger items. For staggered storage, you can place one half of a shelf on a lower setting while leaving the other part higher to accommodate taller items.

Pull them apart sideways left & right,  then push up one side.  We moved both of the middle shelves up to make room for bottles.

I separated my shelves.  I believe I lifted up on both pieces a little and then pushed one side up higher to release and separate.   Not sure if it matters but I think I pushed left side up higher.
