- Answer I have not used turbo wash cycle. However cycle lengths are variable. It dependent on soil level and washer capacity. The washer senses the load size and water level in the tub. The user specifies the soil level.

QuestionThe combined washer and dryer height?When using the stacking kit, does the combined washer and dryer height total to more than 77 1/2 " ? I have a beam causing a low clearance of 79" in a laundry closet. I need to be sure that they will stack without striking the beam.

- Answer I did not get the stacking kit but from what I saw in the store the dryer and washer stacked would be more than 77 1/2" inches

QuestionNeed a washing machine without water sensing feature!Does LG make a front loading washing machine that has steam cleaning but does NOTdetermine the water level for you? I want all the bells and whistles of an upscale model but don't need it - or want it - to think for me. Thank you. Debbie

- Answer Not sure why my question wasn't answered here on this site instead of instructions to call Customer Service...I thought that was the reason for this forum. For those who might have the same question, the answer is "NO - all front loading washers have water sensors." Late model top loaders also have this feature now but you can over ride it and add more water if you want to. At least you have the option.

QuestionThe clothes feel warm almost hot after a "cold" wash cycle.????Is this normal or should the clothes feel cool? I assume that a cold wash cycle would have a cold rinse cycle. Is there an additional setting for a cool rinse cycle if I am doing a cold wash cycle? Thank you.

- Answer Thank you for your question and interest in the LG - 4.0 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer, Model # WM3470HVA. Your assumptions are correct, a cold wash cycle should have a cold rinse. You can set the washer for an extra rinse cycle and that too should be cold. Have you checked to ensure that both the cold water and hot water feeds are fully opened? Try turning the hot water down lower. I don't know as to whether or not that is unusual to have the clothes feel warm to being almost hot after a cold wash and rinse. You may want to call LG's Customer Information Center at (800) 243-0000 on that. It does sound unusual...IFV

- Answer WM3070HWA is a 3.7 cubic-foot washer where as WM3470HWA is a 4.0 cubic-foot washer. The features should be the same, but the internal and external dimensions are different.

QuestionWith proper care how long do these washers typically last?I was reading through the reviews to make sure I'm purchasing a quality machine, there were a few reviews however that said they've only had their machine for three years before it broke.

- Answer I have ran this washer for four years everyday (15-20) loads a week, sometimes more when the kids have a virus. I have had 0 problems. I love this washer. I have an autistic child who has non-stop spills all over everything. It keeps pleasing me everyday. Couldn't ask for a better washer. I will buy another, if the folks buying my house insist on me leaving it next month, though I want to take it with me.
