“The soundbar and sub sounds great. But after 2 hours, I still cant get the wireless receiver to pair with the bar for the rear speakers to work. Just blinking green for 1.5 seconds until moving to a consistent red blinking. Defective maybe?”

Did you remember to hook up the wires from the rear speakers to the wi-fi receiver? If you did and they still don't work, make sure the receiver isn't buried or blocked by something solid and also keep it away from appliances and other electronic equipment because they could interfere with the wi-fi signal.
