Your SJ4R 420 watts is being divided up into all the speakers in the sound bar plus the sub woofer and the two rear speakers. Your new blue-tooth speaker is 60 watts for just that speaker. Non-the-less my SJ4R will blast you out of the room if I turn it up enough. I also am using HDMI ARC. Check your connections all around and maybe try using a Digital Optical Audio cable instead of the HDMI. Also, make sure you are connecting the HDMI cable to the correct HDMI port on the TV. It should say ARC below HDMI. If you have an older TV, or even a newer TV, it could be a compatibility issue between the sound bar and the TV. I had to switch from a Vizio sound bar to the SJ4R because of that. Hope this helps.
