As implied in the title description, the LG SJ4R 4.1 Channel Sound Bar Surround System with Wireless Surround Sound Speakers will deliver surround sound when the Surround function is set to 'ON'. If it is set to 'Off', the speakers will output what the original input source is. In other words, if your input source is a 5.1 Digital Surround Sound source, then the speakers will output a 5.1 Surround Sound...^IFV
