“Can I install this machine without a water heater? I don’t plan on using hot water with my laundry, will the machine still work fine ? What else do I need to purchase when I buy this machine?”

yes it'll work just fine without hot water, but you'll need to split the cold water line to attach to both hot & cold inlets. along with the machine, I purchased a drain hose extension from Home Depot to run the drain into the cellar where the old machine drain is located. I installed it in a kitchen by removing one cabinet/countertop and also had to plumb new water lines and electrical outlet. a DIYer can get the job done, but if you're not experienced, get a good handyman or plumber.
