“Have had this 2 days, works great, but does lint buildup internally like it did in these machines a few years ago? I know how to clean the drain pump lint filter. But there are videos of people opening the unit because of large wads of lint inside.”

Cleaning lint does require a little more effort as it will collect around the rubber ring that seals the door when closed. There is a lint filter at the bottom front that needs to be cleaned as well as a condensation hose that needs to be to emptied after a dozen loads (I use a small plastic bowl to collect the water). Luckily, this is conveniently located at the front and only takes a couple of minutes to easily perform.

We haven't cleaned the lint trap yet, but that's next...! As far as lint build up inside the door, there hasn't been much lint located there. My wife just uses a damp paper towel to wipe it after each load. So inside lint has not been any issue for us. So far we have washed jeans, t-shirts, under ware, sweatshirts, jogging pants, towels, 3 sets of sheets and pillow cases, and one very large queen size comforter that is about 3 1/2" x 4" thick.
