“If the lint is expelled through the waste hose, do you need to clean the screen/where it comes out? If the unit is mounted against the wall, how do you clean this without moving or getting behind the unit?”

There is a lint trap that should be cleaned once monthly. It is a pretty easy task. Directions are included with the machine and it is located in the front so you don't have to move your machine to do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the vast majority of the link collects on the rubber door seal. when a load finishes, dampen a cloth and wipe all the lint onto the cloth. there's also a water outlet filter in the bottom of the unit but it doesn't trap a meaningful amount of lint.
