It would depend on the size of your load and the cycle chosen as to how much water is used. It doesn't have small, medium, large for you to choose. The machine weighs the clothes and by the cycle you choose makes the decision as to how much water comes in and how long to run.

the machine weights the load and uses just enough water , u might say it doesn't uses as much as u would expect it .

I haven't measured, but when I put in three pairs of jeans you can barely see the water in the bottom of the drum. I can't imagine it's more than a few gallons.
