• I believe you can use the Kirkland brand detergent, but I would highly recommend an HE (High Efficiency) type of detergent as this Washington machine does not require as much detergent be used to clean the clothes. We definitely do not use as much detergent any longer because of the HE option. I do not know if the Kirkland brand has an HE detergent, but it is worthwhile to check this out and use it.

• Yes u can use regular laundry detergent but I use the liquid
