“Is the washer not suppose to fill up with water when washing? And should it bounce and move a lot while doing so?”

Hi there! We understand your inquiry about your WT6100CW and how it operates during a wash cycle. Your LG 4.3 cu ft. High‑Efficiency Top‑Load Washer uses an impeller rather than an agitator, so it’s designed to fill with only a few inches of water—just enough to saturate and gently lift your clothes for a thorough, energy‑saving clean. You won’t see the deep “tub‑full” water level of traditional models, and that’s intentional to conserve water and improve wash performance. As for movement, the WT6100CW features LG’s Vibration Reduction Technology to minimize noise and shaking. However, some bouncing or rocking is normal—especially during high‑speed spins—if the load is unbalanced or the feet aren’t perfectly level. Troubleshooting Step: After pausing your cycle, open the lid and check that your laundry is distributed evenly around the impeller. Then, use a level to confirm the washer sits flat on all four corners. If needed, adjust the leveling legs (turn each foot clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower) until the cabinet is stable. Restart the cycle, and you should notice a smoother, quieter operation. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-3-cu-ft-high-efficiency-top-load-washer-with-slamproof-glass-lid-white/6573547.p?skuId=6573547 If you’d like more tips or help with leveling, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions.
