Asked by Mmoore3.
- A:Answer Hi there! We understand your inquiry about your WT6100CW and how it operates during a wash cycle. Your LG 4.3 cu ft. High‑Efficiency Top‑Load Washer uses an impeller rather than an agitator, so it’s designed to fill with only a few inches of water—just enough to saturate and gently lift your clothes for a thorough, energy‑saving clean. You won’t see the deep “tub‑full” water level of traditional models, and that’s intentional to conserve water and improve wash performance. As for movement, the WT6100CW features LG’s Vibration Reduction Technology to minimize noise and shaking. However, some bouncing or rocking is normal—especially during high‑speed spins—if the load is unbalanced or the feet aren’t perfectly level. Troubleshooting Step: After pausing your cycle, open the lid and check that your laundry is distributed evenly around the impeller. Then, use a level to confirm the washer sits flat on all four corners. If needed, adjust the leveling legs (turn each foot clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower) until the cabinet is stable. Restart the cycle, and you should notice a smoother, quieter operation. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-3-cu-ft-high-efficiency-top-load-washer-with-slamproof-glass-lid-white/6573547.p?skuId=6573547 If you’d like more tips or help with leveling, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions. Q: QuestionMy cloths seems to be coming out pretty much the same way it goes in sometimes not even getting completely wet and still dirty. What am I doing wrong here? There is very little water in the machine. How’s it supposed to wash the clothes that way?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The LG 4.3 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Top Load Washer with Impeller & TurboDrum™ Technology, Model # WT6100CW, is a High-Efficiency washer that is specially designed for use with HE (High-Efficiency) detergents only. High-efficiency washers (HE) use significantly less water than traditional washers due to several advanced technologies and design features that allow them to use up to 80% less water than traditional washers, delivering 65% energy savings. HE detergents produce fewer suds, dissolve more efficiently to improve washing and rinsing performance, and help to keep the interior of the washer clean, which is critical for effective cleaning in low-water environments. HE detergents require less water to clean clothes because they are specifically formulated for high-efficiency washing machines that use minimal water, and they are designed to hold soil in suspension in a lower volume of water, preventing it from redepositing onto clean clothes. Using detergent that is not HE may cause oversudsing and unsatisfactory performance which could result in error codes, cycle failure, and washer damage. Detergents designated as HE-compatible may not provide optimal results. You also need to be careful about not overloading the washer with clothes and allow enough room for the dirty laundry to move around in the washer, without overstuffing so it can get clean. The washer can be fully loaded, but the tub should not be tightly packed with items. The lid of the washer must close easily. Clothes should fit loosely in the tub under the maximum fill line. For the best washing results, and to reduce the possibility of damage to clothing, sort clothing into loads made up of similar items. Mixing different fabric types and/or soil levels can result in poor wash performance, color transfer, discoloration, fabric damage or linting...^Ivan.

Q: QuestionWhy does this washer barely uses enough water for its cycle. The clothes are never completely submerged in water, even when there’s only a small amount of clothing in it?
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer This is the high efficiency / low water of the modern washing machine. You can set it to have extra water, I do that especially for things like down pillows and comforters. I find it works all right for clothes to have the lower water level although I admit I doubted that they (the he low water washers) worked for years. I decided to give it a try with this washing machine and I've been pretty satisfied

Q: QuestionHi, I'm planning to order the LG 4.3 cu. ft. top load washer with haul-away service. My current unit is a washer-dryer combo (dryer on top). Can this be hauled away?
Asked by helen.
- A:Answer Best Buy offers a haul-away service for old appliances when you buy a new one. When you purchase a major appliance, such as a refrigerator, washer, or dryer, you can opt for Best Buy’s delivery service. This includes the option to have your old appliance removed from your home. While the haul-away service is available, it often comes with an additional fee which can vary depending on the appliance type and location. Best Buy typically requires that the old appliance be in a condition suitable for haul-away. For instance, if the appliance is leaking or damaged beyond repair, they may refuse to take it. When you purchase your new appliance, you’ll have the option to schedule a delivery date that works for you. This is the time when the haul-away will also be arranged. Make sure your old appliance is disconnected and ready for removal. This may involve unplugging it and clearing any items that surround it. Upon arrival, the delivery team will inspect the old appliance to ensure it meets the criteria for haul-away...^Ivan.

Q: Questionhow do you safely add bleach if there is no bleach dispenser?
Asked by DA.
- A:Answer Hi there. Thank you for sharing your question with us. We understand your inquiry about safely adding bleach to your LG top-load washer (model WT6100CW), which does not include a dedicated bleach dispenser. Here are some guidelines based on LG’s general recommendations and best practices: Check the Care Label and Bleach Type Before adding bleach, confirm that your laundry load is bleach-safe (check garment care labels for “non-chlorine bleach only” or “chlorine bleach OK”). Use the type of bleach recommended for the fabrics (e.g., regular liquid chlorine bleach or color-safe bleach as directed on garment labels). Measure the Correct Amount Refer to bleach packaging for the recommended dosage based on load size and soil level. Typically, for a top-load washer, the guideline might be around ¾ cup of liquid bleach for a full load, but always follow the bleach manufacturer’s instructions. Dilute Before Adding Since there’s no built-in dispenser, it’s safest to dilute the bleach before introducing it into the wash tub. In a suitable container (e.g., a clean plastic measuring cup or pitcher), mix the measured bleach with a small amount of water to reduce concentration. This helps prevent direct contact of undiluted bleach with fabrics or the tub surface. Add at the Appropriate Time Start the Wash with Water Fill: Begin the selected wash cycle so that the tub fills with water to the level you would normally wash at. Once there is sufficient water in the drum, pause or open the lid (if your model allows pausing mid-cycle) and carefully pour the diluted bleach into the water evenly around the tub. The existing water helps distribute the bleach before clothes are added. Alternatively, Pre-Soak: If you prefer pre-soaking, you can fill the tub with water first, then add the diluted bleach, and let garments soak for a short period (follow garment guidelines for soak time), then restart or continue the wash cycle. Always ensure the washer is paused or safely stopped before adding bleach. Add Clothes After Dilution If you did not pre-soak, add your garments right after pouring in the diluted bleach, so the bleach is immediately dispersed throughout the load rather than concentrated on any single item. Run a Rinse Cycle Thoroughly After the wash portion with bleach is complete, ensure the washer runs the full rinse cycle so that any residual bleach is fully flushed out and does not remain on fabrics. Clean the Tub After Bleach Use After using bleach, it’s a good idea to run a tub clean or an extra rinse/spin cycle with no laundry inside, using warm water, to clear any bleach residue from the wash tub and impeller area. This helps protect both the washer and future loads. Safety Precautions Wear gloves when handling bleach and avoid inhaling fumes. Never pour bleach directly onto clothes or into the detergent dispenser if it’s not designed for bleach, as undiluted bleach contact may damage fabrics or machine parts. Keep the area well-ventilated when adding bleach. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-3-cu-ft-high-efficiency-top-load-washer-with-slamproof-glass-lid-white/6573547.p?skuId=6573547 If you’d like more detailed, step-by-step assistance or have follow-up questions about your specific laundry needs, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. Q: QuestionDoes it have removable agitation?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi there! We understand your inquiry about your LG WT6100CW top‑load washer. This model features a low-profile impeller rather than a traditional agitator, so there isn’t an agitator to remove. As a troubleshooting step, if you notice residue or buildup around the impeller, run the “Tub Clean” cycle monthly using an LG Tub Clean tablet, then wipe down the drum interior with a soft, damp cloth once the cycle completes. This will help maintain optimal cleaning performance and keep your washer running smoothly. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-3-cu-ft-high-efficiency-top-load-washer-with-slamproof-glass-lid-white/6573547.p?skuId=6573547 Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore any additional solutions.
