oh boy ... I have no idea. The washer has a sensor which gauges how much water your load needs. I have note noticed any issues either with cleaning or rinsing out all detergent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is not a set number of gallons. This machine starts by sensing the load level and filling water based on that. You cannot set the water level other than telling it to deep fill as an option. Based on watching the wash cycles I have decided that I will probably always use deep fill. First load I did on regular fill I watched 2 socks on opposite sides near the drum that remained completely dry until half way through the wash cycle.

In general, most high-efficiency washers use only 15 to 30 gallons of water to wash the same amount of clothes as older washers (29 to 45 gallons per load). The most efficient washers use less than 5 gallons per cubic foot of capacity. ^Daphane
