QuestionJust did my first wash in this unit. I use baking soda in my wash to keep my clothes fresh. I noticed that there was a lot of baking soda residue on the door and tub after my wash cycle was done.. Has anybody experienced this?

- Answer Yes. I have to make sure that any powder based soap or additive is well within the laundry or it will accumulate in the lip of the rubber seal. I don't know why it won't wash out. The higher end version of the same model comes with turbo wash which I think was added after people complained about the issue with residue.

QuestionI am moving to Germany and I have this washer, I only used it for 3 months. It's practically new, will it work in Germany? I would hate to store it in a storage unit or sell it because I'll loose on my purchase.

QuestionMy machine is less than two years old and I have continually had oil/grease stains on my cotton shirts and sheets after washing. On the last service call , the technician replaced the tub. Happening again and LG now states it is the water source!

QuestionTook machine home, got the shipping bolts out, but have two of the plastic sleeves that go around the bolts that won't come out. Any suggestions? This is my first brand new machine.

- Answer If you get the matching dryer you have to purchase the stacking hardware too (it's not listed as suggested parts because it's not required to use the washer and dryer but if you want them stacked you need it.) Had the best buy guys install them stacked and they work great.
