• I put a single size sleeping bag in and it did not even get wet in the middle. I seriously doubt you could wash a king size comforter.

• I have an older LG front load, smaller capacity. It can handle a queen with no trouble. I would not hesitate to put a King in the 4.5 LG. Take care
