Hi there, Josh. When replacing a side-by-side washer and dryer with the LG WKE100HVA WashTower, this unit combines both the washer and dryer into a single unit, so it requires connections for both the washer and dryer. The washer hookup (water supply) should be connected to the washer side of the unit. The dryer hookup (venting, power) should be connected to the dryer side of the unit.
