“I want to put this in my shower stall in the back bedroom. the opening is 23 in wide and 42 in deep. Will this fit and can the hoses go through the floor to connect to the basement connections and vent”

It won't fit widthwise. Just the washer itself is 27" wide. Deepwise is ok.

Not sure of the recommended length of the connects drain hose/ water inlet hose/ductwork for the dryer vent.
