The LG WM3400CW washer will likely fit on your existing LG WDP4W pedestal, but double-check a few things: • Make sure the WDP4W pedestal is compatible with your LG front load washer (from 2009 and newer). • If your current washer fits the pedestal, the WM3400CW probably will too. • You may need to buy an adapter kit from LG to attach the washer to the pedestal. This kit includes mounting brackets and screws. • Check that the holes on the pedestal align with the holes on the washer. Attach the washer to the pedestal with 4 screws at each corner. • Make sure both the washer and pedestal are level before attaching the brackets. Use a wrench to adjust the legs if needed.
