When we first got it I used the heavy duty cycle a few times and the clothes were warm and steamy at the end of the final rinse. It is only supposed to be a cold rinse. Ours doesn't have a steam setting or extra sanitizing cycle so I was confused. I contacted LG support and they kept insisting I had the hoses hooked up backwards. I did NOT! I got tired of trying to get answers so now we rarely use the heavy duty cycle. It remains a mystery to me but, I guess everything is working okay aside from that.

We understand your concern about your LG Washer (WM3400CW) model making clothes warm after the rinse cycle. This model uses cold water for rinsing to save energy, but warm clothes may indicate reversed hot and cold water hoses. Check that the hot water hose is connected to the 'H' inlet and the cold to the 'C' inlet.
