To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.U need a minimum of 5” and b sure the installers flex the hose the water hose when they install it because your water won’t come in well you’ll hear a big bang when the water comes on and shuts off and you need that space so that the water hose does not get kinked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just installed both washer and dryer, and then installed the stacking kit, in a very tight space. I think I may have squeezed the back a bit closer than two inches from the back wall, and all seems to work well. I had to carefully keep the electric cords and drainage pipe out of the way, as they tend to get tangled. But it actually fits!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 3 and one half inches of space, and it's a tight fit for me with hose connections. If you have had a washer in that space before, you should have no problem except for a very tight fit. You would have this same problem with any other brand of washer.
