• Even tho we have just started using our new washer.. we are having no problems as of yet.. the door stays shut! This is our first front loading washing machine.. very pleased with it!

• The door can stay ajar as little or wide as you want. The metal prongs that go into machine to secure door shut, can rest without shutting by itself thereby allowing some air to circulate. I usually leave it ajar a bit more.
