I had the same thing. I modified the old brackets from the back and used double sided tape under the front. So, yes it can be done but you need skills. Try watching YouTube videos if you are handy.

Please try again later.All of our LG Front Load Washers with a 27" width are stackable and you can stack any of our LG Front Load Dryers on them using the 27" LG Stacking Kit, KSTK4. The depth of our new stackable Front Load washers does not impact whether you can stack a dryer on them because the listed depths for the washers and dryers are for the cabinet, not the feet. The stacking kit has slots on it that are designed to accommodate the dryer's feet when it is attached and secured on the washer, so even though the depth for your dryer shows that its cabinet will overlap the washer's cabinet, what matters is that the stacking kit accommodates the dryer's feet securely...^Ivan.
