To ensure sufficient clearance for water lines, the drain line and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the unit. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Space behind the washer would be just a regular amount behind any typical washer, a few inches so that there is room for the wire and plug. I have my washer and dryer stacked, so my washer/dryer combo have to be out a little bit further for the dryers duct. My washer and dryer combo are about 6 inches away from the wall.
