The little door on the bottom left of the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 10-Cycle Front-Loading Smart Wi-Fi Washer with 6Motion™ Technology - White, Model # WM3500CW is the Access Cover for the Drain Pump Filter. The washer fails to drain if the drain pump filter is clogged so it is recommended that you periodically clean the drain filter to prevent clogging with foreign objects or an accumulation of lint. The frequency of how often you need to clean the drain filter depends on how often you use the washer. You will find explicit instructions in the maintenance section on page 25 of your owner's manual for the washer for how to clean the drain filter...^IFV
