Yes, I was advised to for safety, even though the washer hardly vibrates if at all or the dryer and cannot move side to side = no space to, so why I do not think it could fall forward, perhaps over time? I picked a Stsck Kit up at Lowes, but Best buy would NOT install only deliver? so I had someone else do the install. I was supposed to get a call from Steve or someone at Best bu-t the manager about this, but he never called. just told the guys to deliver only....they did take my old washer for @20.00 though.
