Q: Questionare doors reversible so as to open on the dryer side?

• A:Answer The door on the washer is not reversible. he door of a washing machine cannot be reversed to open the opposite way. The direction in which a washing machine's door opens cannot be changed due to electrical parts in the machine which cannot be moved. ^Daphane

• A:Answer It's the same width as that dryer (27"), and though it isn't the one mentioned as the "match" for this washer, it's worth checking out. LG's web site has a place that you can ask questions like this, and I would check with them. I think the stacking kits are about $35 - $40. The only thing that might give me pause is that the dryer you mention is a higher load capacity than this washer, so that might affect its suitability.

• A:Answer It’s tight. I do it, but I do wish i had the larger tub for that bc i’d like to feel more confident my comforter got truly clean, but it’s not like it comes out looking dirty. It was just so much more expensive for the next size up that I couldn’t justify it for washing just one thing. The tub is already SO much larger than what I came from, so it holds a bunch of typical laundry.

• A:Answer I just measured mine. With the hoses in the back, mine measures 32 1/2 to the front of the washer door. I suppose I could get back and closer to the wall and gain 1/2 to 3/4" inches. Yours will be close but it COULD just fit if installed properly. If you purchase the matching steam dryer, don't forget the dryer has a cold water connection. Actually a "Y" fitting shares the cold water with the washer and runs to the dryer. Another consideration is your dryer vent. If it vents out the back and the 4" exhaust in the wall doesn't line up with the rear dryer vent hole, that will cause a problem fitting into 32 3/4" . My dryer vent aligns with the wall which is why it fits so close. If your dryer vents out the side you may not have a problem fitting into your depth.

Q: QuestionThe power button on my washer works different then all the other buttons on my washer or dryer. They have a simple press/click of the button. But the washer, when I press start, it pushes in about 1 inch and it seems a little wobbly. Is that normal?

• A:Answer That is because it is spring loaded. Meaning that there is spring behind the button that keeps it in place against the front of your machine. When you push it in your button comes away from frame holding the button and seems to be wobbly. Push it in all the way and don't worry about the wobble. Be happy you bought a great washing machine too!
