Anti-skip pads are not necessary for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Front-Loading Smart Wi-Fi Washer with Steam and 6Motion™ Technology - White, Model # WM3700HWA if it is installed and leveled properly. The washer should be installed on a solid floor that is strong and rigid enough to support the weight of the washer, even when fully loaded, without flexing or bouncing. If the floor has too much flex, you may need to reinforce it to make it more rigid. If the floor is not solid, it may cause severe vibration and noise. Concrete flooring is best, but a wood floor is sufficient, provided it is built to FHA standards. Before installing the washer, make sure the floor is clean, dry and free of dust, dirt, water and oil so the washer feet cannot slide easily. Leveling feet that can move or slide on the floor can contribute to excess vibration and noise due to poor contact with the floor. The washer features LG's LoDecibel™ Quiet Operation which has a decibel rating of about 44 dBA, so unless you're standing right in front of the washer, you probably will not hear it running...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have the tile carpet from when we had our old washer and dryer. And having the new LG, it is very quiet. I normally know and can hear the old ones of they are on but not for the new appliances. I have to really stop and focus to hear if they are on. We love it so far.
