QuestionI am planning to have this washer (and the corresponding dryer) in an uninsulated room (water lines will be insulated, but temperature of the room will be variable throughout the year). Will this affect the functioning of the units?

- Answer If there's ANY chance the room may get below freezing, I would be *extremely* concerned about water freezing somewhere. Because there is zero insulation inside the washing machine, the entire appliance would be subjected to those cold conditions. I wouldn't locate anything that uses water in a location that might get below freezing.

QuestionThis is second load of clothes I have washed. The washer walks all the way out the space for the washer. I put it on the lowest speed and it still walked out the spot. It seems to be level. What should I do before I return it to the store.

- Answer There are leveling legs. You could remove them if you wanted to gain a half an inch or so....

- Answer I have to assume the height includes the minimum height they can be adjusted to, as that would simply make sense from a marketing perspective. I would not remove the levelers because the rubber feet on them are also the "shock absorbers" for your floor. I'd be afraid of noise and, even worse, possible damage to the washer/floor if it was just the metal bottom sitting on your floor.

QuestionI have limited space above w&d. I would like to know the height of washer plus pedestal. I know the height of each item but mounting raises them some. I need measurement from floor to top of washer when mounted on pedestal.

- Answer The feet on our pedestal are very close to the minimum they can be adjusted to and the combined height of both the pedestal and the washer is exactly 52 1/4 inches tall.

- Answer I think so, yes. But only one downloaded cycle is held. So if it’s a regular one great but if you are changing it every time it’s a bit more time consuming.

- Answer We purchased the pedestal and love it. It raises the washing machine so you don’t have to bend over to load it. All the controls on the machine are on the front, so everything is right in front of you. The pedestal even has drawers so that you can store your detergent and supplies in there. Very handy.
