    • Answer I just measured my unit that includes a WDP4W pedestal and a WM4000HWA washer. The top is 52.5 inches from the floor. This might vary slightly depending on how the leveling feet are adjusted.

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance of your unit. Here are the basic steps for cleaning the drain pump filter: Ensure the washer is off and grab a shallow pan and a towel. Open the access panel door, which is located on the lower front corner of the unit. Carefully pull out the small residual drain hose, place the hose into your pan, and remove its plug to drain the remaining water. Once drained, put the plug back in the hose and reinsert it. Remove the main pump filter by turning the large cap counter-clockwise. Clean any debris or lost items from the filter and its housing. Reinstall the clean filter by turning it clockwise until it is securely locked, and close the access panel.     • Answer Each cycle on the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient/ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Front Load Washer - Black Steel, Model # WM4000HBA, has default settings that are selected automatically. You cam also customize these settings using the cycle modifier buttons. You can repeatedly press the button for the desired modifier until the indicator light for the desired setting is lit. The LED next to the setting lights up when the setting is selected. To protect your garments, not every wash temperature, spin speed, soil level, or option is available with every cycle. A chime will sound twice and the LED will not light if the desired setting is not allowed for the selected cycle. You can press the Temp. button repeatedly to select the wash and rinse temperature combination for the selected cycle. All rinses for this washer use unheated cold water. Tap Cold, Cold, Warm, Hot or Extra Hot wash temperature settings are available for most wash cycles. You can also press the Cold Wash button to save energy by using cooler water. It will increase the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance and this option is available for the Normal, Heavy Duty, Bedding, Delicates, Perm. Press, Towels, Speed Wash and Downloaded cycles...^Ivan
