“The spec says the washer is 44 inches tall. . Seems awful tall! The dryer would be the same on a matching set. Has anyone had difficulty reaching into the unit to retrieve clothes? My older w/d are only 36” tall. Thanks.”

Hi...Yes, it is 44 inches from the floor to the top of the control panel at the back. It is only 36 at the front of the machine. I’m only 5’ 2”, but I have no issue reaching the bottom of the washer to get the clothes out. I’ve only had this washer for a few weeks, but I like it very much.
