“We recently purchase this machine & have only done 2 loads. I noticed that after the washer is done, there is water in the detergent dispenser. I have looked in the manual & online & can't find any info about this. Does anyone know if this is normal?”

Yes that is normal. Either empty it out or just leave the lid open so that it can evaporate,

Typically, the dispenser is flushed twice to ensure all added detergent was dispensed.
