Hi Kawena. Make sure that you are using only HE (High-Efficiency) detergent with the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Top-Loading Washer with 6Motion Technology, Model # WT7100CW and that you are following the detergent manufacturer's directions on how much to use. Using the wrong detergent or too much HE detergent causes excess suds and the washer will try to get rid of the excess suds by adding time to the cycle...^IFV

I like the option for three different spin cycles. It has really shortened my drying time. I haven’t found those to be overly long as it is part if the rinsing cycle.
